Welcome to Sheridan's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) Program!

Sheridan's Co-Curricular Record (CCR) program provide students with diverse and creative opportunities to engage in activities identified as fostering personal growth and professional development. CCR activities take place outside of academic studies and participation in a CCR activity is not recognized on the student's academic transcript.

What is a Co-Curricular Record?

A Co-Curricular Record (CCR) is an institutional document that formally recognizes a student's participation in a Sheridan approved CCR activity.

Activities listed in the CCR Opportunities Directory include student life programs, student leadership development programs, community engagement activities, clubs, athletics, committee participation and research projects. Academic credit is not provided for participating in these activities.

How does having a Co-Curricular Record benefit students?

  • Provides employers with concrete evidence of the student's motivation to take responsibility for their learning and professional development
  • Demonstrates the student's initiative to get involved and make a difference in their community which employer value in candidates
  • Supports the student's application when applying for jobs and internships
  • Provides the student with strong supporting documentation when applying for academic scholarships, bursaries and awards
  • Supports the student's application when pursuing further education
